I had my leader stack with 10 more units (3 assassins inc.) and 5 ravens dedicated to capture all towns while i had 3 full stacks to kill the opponent's leader stack or push him back - a true hammer and anvil with no road open to my towns where i still had some units. Just as a test I played a game with purely hatchlings as my driving force, with a few heroes, elders and crushers to cover and buff them. the statement that i only won because of sneaky capitol capture is not true. ![]() In the current setup - a warlord is not T1 and wasting time to get towns instead of getting units to clear the map is not a winning tactic. I do agree that MC is not done well in the game and is the best way to get units fast - the very little disadvantage being the economical inconvenience of having to pay and having no income but who cares if the game is about to end anyway. Make the tournaments map bigger and i'll play that and tell you my findings. 1 round of mortar fire does avg of 10-18 points of damage versus their 60+ pts in three melee strikes. ![]() This is the boundary for the tournaments - i'm only stating what is, i'm not giving solutions or saying what i want or sm.th. I had 2 stacks with 9 juggernauts and 3 flame tanks (all gold medal) against 8 gold manticores and 4 gold warbred.
